Christine M. Nicholson, Ph.D.
Welcome to WorryDoctor.com. I'm Christine Nicholson aka the Worry Doctor.
The primary focus of my private practice is the treatment of troubled children and teens. Treatment may extend to all members of the family because each individual influences the growth and healing of the patient. I specialize in the effects of divorce, family violence, and early attachment issues and their effect on the development of the Self. I believe protecting, understanding and nurturing the health and welfare of our children and their caregivers helps insure a better future for us all.

"Dr. Nicholson's skills are broad based. She has had experience in K-12 public schools, university settings and has a long-standing clinical practice. She is someone who can work well with large groups and can work just as brilliantly in one to one settings. Christine is the model of a respectful, empathic, knowledgeable and thorougly professional counselor."
- — Breda Bova, Ph.D.; Special Assistant to the President at UNM
"The evaluations by those whose children she served have always been superior. Informal comments by school staff have also lauded the performance of Dr. Nicholson.
"Others have found she works well with children, gets along well with school staff, informs parents at IEP meetings about the progress of their children, is familiar with Federal and state laws, and is most of all effective in meeting the needs of the children with whom she works. Christine is a joy to work with.
"I would highly recommend Dr. Christine Nicholson for her professional competence as well as her enjoyable demeanor. If I had a child who needed psychological services, I certainly would not hesitate to send my child to her."
- — Max Luft, Director: Cooperative Educational Services, NM
